PLEASE NOTE: Postage costs listed will accommodate up to 3 Leafs. All Israel Souvenir Leafs (SL) are appx 5-1/2” x 7-3/4” in size, constructed of thin cardstock and suitable for framing and /or gift-giving. Each SL combines a design, an official Israel Post cancel, and an official Israel stamp, all with a common theme or topic. Many SL have the reverse in Hebrew only; where there are added features and there is English or other content, we also show the reverse of the SL, otherwise we do not. Many SL were designed and issued for specific organizations and were not available to the general public; most were issued in quantities of slightly over 1000. Excess quantities not distributed or sold to members were then released to the general public, which had the effect of an increase in price due to high demand because of subject matter, and very low supply. Others were officially issued in larger numbers (and not numbered) by the Israel Philatelic Services on the occasion of Holidays, Independence Day, and other similar occasions, and were distributed to the public at large. The catalogue # and catalogue price are taken from the 2021 edition CARMEL catalogue, which is the Bible of all Israel Souvenir Leafs. As we are disposing of excess stock, many of the selling prices listed are a fraction of catalogue value. No catalogue price is listed less than $40. In any event, no SL is priced less than $8.95, and all prices reflect supply and demand. Any questions may be addressed to the seller. ENJOY!
