Here is an untold story entitled “GENERAL DAVID STANLEY, FRONTIER SOLDIER, by Samuel Stanley. Seldom do the old western frontier stories “tell it like it was” but in this old soldier’s biography, no words were spared about Custer – who the General called “a cold-blooded, untruthful and unprincipled man….” – Here is a real soldier’s story. He refused a Confederate Commission, fought against a man who saved his life, name of J. E. B. Stuart. STANLEY was awarded his country’s highest tribute The Medal of Honor. Please read this. There were many a western story published – the common ones about Cowboys and Indians are listed on Ebay every day but the rarer ones about the pioneer soldiers of the old west like this one are seldom found. Collectors treasure them and their price guide value rises every day. They are hard to find. I hunt them out because really the better, untold and rarer stories were published in the rest.
